This article explores the definition of romance in the life of a Muslim, drawing exclusively from the profound wisdom of the Quran.
- Romance Rooted in Mutual Love and Mercy:
The Quran emphasizes the importance of love and mercy between spouses, serving as a foundation for a romantic relationship. Allah says in Surah Ar-Rum (30:21), “And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy.” This verse highlights the divine intention behind the creation of marital relationships, where love and mercy are key components. - Communication and Understanding:
In fostering romantic relationships, effective communication and understanding play pivotal roles. The Quran underscores the significance of open dialogue and empathy. Surah Al-Hujurat (49:10) advises, “The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers.
